send hugvibes to thousands of folks with flooded homes today in Bangkok took all day and wading through flood waters but i managed to get out and to the airport... where thousands are getting off planes to find a 6hr taxi wait, or take a train to a flooded station, so are just camping here.

(sry, on phone) - atproto core is PLC (adversarially mirrored), transport-agnostic content location discovery, and signed records - everything else is use-case specific - verifiability UX in the client is critical, i have ideas, have tilted at this windmill before a couple of times

the pattern in my atproto apps is often a mix of both cryptographic provenance and asset location. verifiability alone is good, but both together are magic.

parents got me a compound bow when i was like 12 i'd put balloons on the shack in back of our house, shoot at em one day my little brother wanted to try but couldn't pull the bow back all the way, and sproing... arrow skittered across the yard, and thunk... into the neighbor's foot no more bow
