Sounds like a conversation about consent I recently had. "If you're wrong, you'll kiss me on the lips." I don't consent to the kiss. "You will if you're wrong." I still don't consent, regardless of what you say.

I'm hard of hearing, so I say everything loudly. Once, I stopped by a store after an appointment that I had my disability letters with me for & I sat down on a chair for the disabled. An employee demanded I get up. I had to prove I was disabled!

I've been criticized for using aids because I look healthy. I've been told that if I can't walk much, I shouldn't go to the store. I'm told that I don't need aids.

Some people constantly use words incorrectly or switch words around & it bothers me tremendously. I don't say anything about it, just like I don't correct people's grammar out loud.

I watched The Impossible, a movie about a family on vacation in Thailand during the 2004 tsunami. It was good. Now I'm watching The East Palace, a Korean paranormal horror drama about a curse.

I look healthy & perfectly fine at a glance. People can't see that underneath my clothes is a patchwork of scars. Even more lay beneath the surface. My organs struggle to function the way they should. Just because someone looks healthy doesn't mean they are.
