Same here. I usually just download the Demo give it a try then look at my bank account then the FOMO disappears quickly. The last two years it's been all about features mostly 3d nothing about updating the back-end. Number one complaint is performance. I got Blender for more 3d stuff.

To all my friends who love Yaoi and Smut in general. My suggestion right now take the money you were going to spend on subscribe-star this month buy a Portable Hard Drive save all the smut you can because it might be all gone tomorrow.

The updates aren't really worth it. They are using the exact same engine as the first version. It's not keeping up with modern computing. Do more than 20 layers multi panel comic page at high resolution and the program is slow as hell. I got 64gb of ram 24 core AMD Ryzen it should not be that slow.

Due to more and more States drinking the British Kool Aid I will not be bringing back my website. I can't afford the legal headaches and potential threats that come along with it. I'll continue to do Yaoi/Adult art on social media as long as these sites allow it.
