I do not understand why Jed Hoyer got an extension. His tenure has been mediocre at best and the lack of pitching development is inexcusable. PCA turning nuclear one of the few saving graces, but he’s going to need to hit in the playoffs at some point.

The best part of this Cubs game is Clayton Kershaw's presence reminding me of his whiplash when the Cubs drilled multiple HRs off him in Game 6 of the NLCS in 2016.

Can’t even get too worked up about the Cubs right now. They’ve sucked for over a month and have nobody to blame but themselves for needing to travel to San Diego. Hope they wake up but wouldn’t surprise me at all if they go out meekly in 2 games.
