Thanks. I’ve taken over 500 abstract boat photos now so I’m getting quite good at spotting interesting things fairly quickly! If a marina has dozens of yachts you just don’t have time otherwise.

Delighted to hear that two of my works have been selected to be shown at the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy as part of Visual Arts Scotland’s exhibition in January 2027. They’re part of my current project “Where the Boats Lie” which I’m hoping will come together in various forms next year too

A tale of two castles. Kilchurn in the rain the day before presented little to photograph and then Castle Stalker the next morning in quiet but changeable conditions. At least it brought a bit of colour, and a few otters to watch. #photography #landscapephotography #photographers
