finally a reasonable take
Liberals and the left do not need the right to
be online in the way that the right needs
liberals and the left. The nature of reactionary
politics demands constant confrontations-
literal reactions- to the left. People like Rufo
would have a substantially harder time trying
to influence opinions on a platform without
liberals. "Triggering the libs" sounds like a
joke, but it is often essential for segments of
the right. This explains the popularity of some
X accounts with millions of followers, such as
Libs of TikTok, whose purpose is to troll
liberals.
The more liberals leave X, the less value it
offers to the right, both in terms of cultural
relevance and in opportunities for trolling.

🧵 It's not whether it's possible to save our future. It is. The question is do we want to. That's what remains to be seen. Less about climate science or technology & more about sociology & unfortunately politics, with an economic system that rewards apathy & making things worse. /1
Continuum with "Zero Emissions vis Designed Transition" on the far left, "Demonstrably Unsustainable Status Quo" in the middle and "Dystopic Fiery Hellscape" on the far right. Under the left side it reads "we all win" and from centre to right it reads "we all lose"

No, that’s not how this works at all. Nobody has the right to be heard. Nobody has the right to force people to hear them. That’s not free speech, it’s basically the opposite. They especially don’t have the right to force platforms to host and amplify them.

This restaurant is an echo chamber. Everyone in the kitchen is just cooking. It needs an evil chef that spits in the food

They are paying less attention than even the far right. Righties know what heinous shit righties are up to, as a general rule. It's just that they don't care, or they approve. It is only the "enlightened centrist" who think its just a football game with no real world consequences.

A right wing paper that has *never* had a similar headline about the UK economy taking a FAR greater hit from the ruinous Tory Brexit deal, can’t be taken seriously when it slates Labour for dealing with the epic mess the Tories left behind. What did you expect, Times? You helped grenade the place.
Photo of Times front page today. Headline “UK economy takes a hit after Labour tax increases”

Picture of a laughing Jeremy Clarkson also.

The party with two people who didn’t attend expensive, elite private universities and worked in public service for almost the entire careers failed to adequately speak to the needs of working people like the campaign of Ivy League multimillionaires funded entirely by a handful of billionaires

This is the average length of time that people admitted to hospital for Covid stayed in hospital, month by month throughout the last nearly five years in Scotland. Can someone please point to the place on the graph where Covid becomes mild?

You couldn't make it up. The New York Times, so active in getting people repeatedly infected, slips out a quiet little article saying that Covid infections can raise the risk of heart problems for years. Can we please stop pretending? archive.md/eNWvM

Now, look at this one closely. It's Covid admissions in Scotland over the last nearly five years. It's displayed by age bands. Look at the youngest age group, 0-18s. Then look at the graph in the next post...

Based on the information we have now, young white men were more likely to support Harris than any other age group. Man-O-Sphere garbage is clearly a problem but Gen X white dudes are more right-wing and far more likely to vote.

First post lol. This is a funny thing
A message in plain text reading

"1. Rosanne Boyland, a FORMER Trump believer wanted to impose “her will” on the rest of us from within her party. She sought to overturn the will of the people as ALL Jan. Sixth INSURRECTIONISTS did, blindly parroting lies about voter fraud simply so a CRIMINAL could avoid prison and consequences for his crimes.

2. The consequences of her blind loyalty are the erosion of democracy and being duped by a con man who flat out told CAMERAS “I don’t care about you. I just want your vote.” You lie down with predators… you get fleas.

3. In THE MOST ironic “I never thought consequences would happen to me" consequence of her carrying a “Don’t Tread On Me!” flag, intended to be a threat to everyone OUTSIDE her made-up universe, was HER OWN PEOPLE LITERALLY tread on her and SHE IS DEAD.

I swear god has a twisted sense of humor sometimes.
