Goose's bloodwork came back pretty much perfect !! Glucose levels normal so no signs of insulinoma, white blood cells are fine, red blood cells all fine, oxygen levels fine, liver fine, her heart seems good. Vet says she seems healthy blood-wise 💚

Okay. I feel okay enough to start on commissions again. We are not out of the woods yet and I am still stressed out of my gourd in case things take a wrong turn again but I need to do something instead of worrying and doing nothing. I am so sorry for the delay, I hope you can understand.

My vets don't tend to give paper copies or itemised lists showing treatments and such, but if I can get them I will so I can show proof of everything if anyone has any doubts. I promise I would never, ever make anything like this up. This is truly one of the worst periods of my life right now.

I am so privileged to know creature so full of love and joy and loyalty and humour. I have never known love so deep for creatures so small. They have made my life so much better since we adopted them. Knowing them is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. What a privilege it is.

Any help is so extremely appreciated. Things just keep getting worse. There are so many tests and they're all SO expensive and I'm maxing out everything to try do everything I can but it's just not enough. I hate having to ask for help. I truly do. But it's for my babies. I need them to be okay.

My poor girls. They don't deserve any of this pain or suffering and I wish so fucking bad I could do more. The waiting to see if they improve is fucking killing me. My heart hurts so fucking bad. I can't stop sobbing I can't eat or sleep or think about anything else.

She was so scared and in pain and I thought she was dying she was so fucking stuck her legs were going limp. I can't unsee it in my head it's just on repeat. She has been so tired since and just not right at all. I don't know what else to do.

I feel so fucking guilty for not seeing that there was a tiny gap. I don't know why she crushed herself into the gap. I'm so fucking upset about all of this. She's already not doing well and now this. I have to pay for more pain meds and exams and rechecks and fuck. I can't do this.

Blossom's abdomen got crushed because she tried to fit into a tiny gap in a desk in the vet exam room. It took 20 minutes and multiple vets plus me to get her out eventually. She wedged herself so far in it and she is so bruised. It was one of the worst experiences of my life seeing it happen.

If there is anything I can do in return for your help I will do it. I will do anything. I cannot let them die.

Things got better for a few days and then worse again. I thought we were out of the woods but we aren't. And now it's both Blossom and Goose. I need to bring them back to the vet for more tests and treatment. And it is yet more money. I feel like I am drowning.

I don't know how to navigate this at all. I was already SO fucking beyond worried about them and was bringing them in to do blood panels and review meds and now blossom is covered in huge bruises I feel so fucking hopeless my poor baby girls I don't know what to do any more fuck fuck fuck fuck

That makes way more sense LOL idk how they don't get sued ??? People here would absolutely try to do that if an animal in the pet shop I work at bit someone. Someone actually TRIED to get at us about it even though we have signs EVERYWHERE saying don't stick your damn fingers in the cages !!

Genuinely SO dangerous and not good at ALL for the animals. Not only can it spread diseases, but also hamsters and other prey animals don't want to be picked up by random people and passed around and stressed out like that ?? I'm surprised they don't bite the people ????

Yeah :')) it's why I love going out on walks with the ferrets and educating people on them !! The more I can do myself the better because the UK especially is absolutely AWFUL to ferrets 90% of the time.

Horrified by the knowledge that the big pet stores in the US let customers HOLD THE ANIMALS?? 😭 NOOOOO Especially with ferrets that's SO DANGEROUS oh my god. They can catch human diseases so easily. Why the fuck ???

Thank you 💚 They truly deserve the whole world. I'm currently plotting a way to redo the ferret room to make it even more wonderful for them so they can enjoy themselves as much as possible when they feel better 💚

It was unfortunately still quite serious since respiratory infections can definitely kill ferrets and there's no treatment other than supportive care and antibiotics to stop any secondary infections like pneumonia, but I'm definitely very happy they seem to be getting better 💚

Soup has remained unaffected, thankfully !! B+G have been moved from the ferret room to the bathroom while they've been sick so that Soup doesn't catch it from them. Respiratory infections are NO JOKE for ferrets they have such small airways and it can go so wrong so fast so I've been SCARED.

It seems like Blossom gets the worst of any illness the ferrets get and then Goose later develops a lesser version of it. Perhaps Goose just has a stronger immune system ?? Poor babies have been through the ringer these past 2 years. I enjoy every single moment I spend with them so much.

I just truly cannot cope with seeing my babies ill or in pain and it tears my heart apart every time. I have been unable to rest or relax at all this past week and the financial stress of it all was REALLY not helping.

I love my babies more than anything and I would do or give up anything for them. The idea that people online who are essentially strangers would financially help me so much is mine blowing and I will never ever forget anyone who has helped me even a little. Thank you so so so much.

Blossom and Goose are doing okay 💚 They are both recovering from a respiratory infection. They're very sleepy and stuffy but when they are awake they want to bounce around the place ! Thank you all so so so much for helping me help them. I am forever so fucking grateful.
