Things got better for a few days and then worse again. I thought we were out of the woods but we aren't. And now it's both Blossom and Goose. I need to bring them back to the vet for more tests and treatment. And it is yet more money. I feel like I am drowning.

Horrified by the knowledge that the big pet stores in the US let customers HOLD THE ANIMALS?? 😭 NOOOOO Especially with ferrets that's SO DANGEROUS oh my god. They can catch human diseases so easily. Why the fuck ???

Blossom and Goose are doing okay 💚 They are both recovering from a respiratory infection. They're very sleepy and stuffy but when they are awake they want to bounce around the place ! Thank you all so so so much for helping me help them. I am forever so fucking grateful.

Goose just did the same cough Blossom has been doing. And my partner is now also very sick and coughing. Which means it is likely a respiratory infection going through the household. Need to bring Goose in to get antibiotics.

Blossom seems to be doing... Slightly better? She isn't really coughing much any more which was the really worrying symptom that the vet thought could be DCM due to her age (she's 7, which is considered elderly for ferrets). She still has some concerning behaviours but I'm becoming a bit hopeful.

Extremely disappointing, and I recommend anyone who is interested in this game to read the article. And I've also seen some Warrior Cats fans trying to defend the use of AI in this game as well, just fuck no. Using AI trained on artists instead of ACTUAL artists is insanely scummy.

It's so fucked up that animals can hide health issues SO well. Anyone unfamiliar with my specific ferrets would be completely unable to tell that anything is wrong with Blossom right now. She is trying her absolute best to appear as if absolutely nothing is wrong at all.

Blossom has been given an antibiotic injection. One of her lungs sounds strange. Could be respiratory infection, could be a heart disease. They don't know yet. Trying her on antibiotics to see if it clears up. If it doesn't we will have to do full blood tests and diagnostics.
