I’ve been recently enthralled with our local pika population, so I made a bookmark with gouache and watercolor. I too want to stand on mossy rocks and yell sometimes

A watercolor pika (a small furry rodent) stands on a moss covered rock and screams AAAAAAA over a field of gouache flowers

Quick n dirty ghibli theme for a greeting card for a friend, styling her two cats after Jiji (gosh I’m falling in love with gouache again?! Let’s gooo)

Briefly took the pup out so she could stare at some parade horses (and tickle her herding instinct), but otherwise been distracting myself with making swatches for new gouache and acrylic markers. Self care is organizing art supplies while procrastinating a commission for one day.

I took too long to finish my coffee this morning before our daily run. Lumi sure tries her very best to imitate her big brother but it’s just sort of cute and squeaky 🥹

Slowly but surely I can feel all the burnout leaving my body. My immune system is still getting caught up, but I already feel like a different person. Energy to hike and paint again. Grateful af for days like this 💜

Not bad for the first week of “new” bosses in my favorite video game. Closest I’ll ever get to #1 probably 😅

A silly restoration shaman in world of Warcraft managed to get second place in the world for healing in a new dungeon. Top healer parses are often a meme because that usually means the raid took a stupid amount of damage and people stood in whirlwinds.

Gonna try to post here more often, and get my websites in a position to sell prints of my crows and other birds. But in the meantime, just happy to level my watercolor XP and paint some doggos for some lovely people

T-minus one month until maybe the biggest announcement of my adult life. A lot of very big and conflicting emotions tangled up together. Pretty much every emotion but Hope overrides all. I can’t wait to share the news with you. In the meantime enjoy a pic of Sterling living his best ikea cat life

It’s not just the ranked numbers here, but the people I’ve spent a few hours a week with that mean so much to me. Grateful to spend my Sunday mornings with so many chill, kind, and fun people from around the world (and just forgetting about everything else for a sweet, brief moment in time)

Everything is scary and not normal. But watching my puppy play in her first snowfall takes the edge off, at least for a few gentle minutes.

Ok one good thing this week, I got to cuddle a lapdog

Listening to angry Dutch man raid leading ASMR while working on transferring my line work to watercolor paper. Perfect use of my bench time imho, and super excited to finish inking and coloring this (little sneak peek).

Apple and peanut butter is the best lazy dinner for raid night. Here’s to hoping we get the hard boss down, because I wanna get back to my linework fast

Also in case you need one more cat on your timeline, this is Sterling. He’s two year old and still doesn’t understand the cat he sees in the skylight is actually his own reflection

Anyways if you’re new (to me) let me say hello! I like to draw digital portraits of goofy Warcraft characters for friends on twitch, and paint watercolor birds. It’s a bit of an eclectic range, but I like to have fun with them😅
