Through our spring-quarter course on defending global academic freedom, undergraduates designed advocacy campaigns for two Azerbaijani scholars and activists currently imprisoned abroad, Igbal Abilov and Bahruz Samadov, who were wrongfully convicted of treason for their academic and advocacy work.
