buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Final Fantasy 15 is... Confusing. Combat feels clumsy even after 8 hours in, story feels classicly Final Fantasy, as in, I'm not sure what's actually going on. Via PS4 physical on PS5, let's see if I can finish it 000
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 05/10/2026About 4 hours into NORCO, what a work of art. The writing, world building, and art ... Looking forward to letting the story continue to unfold. I have a lot of questions... 110
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Ok, considering a revisit of d4 as a "completion" this year. Season 15, warlock, did the campaigns got about halfway through seasonal journey. Very addicting gameplay loop , the environments are amazing. Played a bit of paladin as well. All via steam deck , about 50 hours 🫣 010

buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Knocked out Moonlighter in about 17 hours. Great art, a little repetitive, felt like a less interesting save the diver (I know it's earlier), but overall a fun roguelite game 000
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Next up, Lies of P! It's for sure a soulslike; lots of unique charm so far 120
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Working through Life is Strange 2 (plus the awesome adventures of Captain Spirit). Shits heavy, but incredibly written characters. About 4 hours in, and I think I'm making too many rules for Daniel 120
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Starting my first Switch 2 game, Starfox. Definitely nostalgic. Did the Alt run first on normal through Venom 2. Actually kinda tough dog fight. Will continue to grind some medals! 020
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 24/07/2026About 15 hours into Ghost of Yotei; no shortage of beautiful views. At first it felt almost too similar to Tsushima, but the game is just crazy fun. Time just disappears, even though it feels a lot like he original I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Via ps5 physical 120
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 18/07/2026Finished the Magnificent Trufflepigs Via Steak deck, in about 2 hours. A tad underwhelming in both gameplay and story, but a cute idea. Coming from someone who loved firewatch, what remains of Edith Finch, and gone home too. But overall cute cozy walking sim 020
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 13/07/2026Starting Ghost of Yotei, pretty solid so far. First couple hours hooked me pretty well. Looking forward to cleaning off the map, and getting back into the groove of combat 010
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 13/07/2026Finished The Pale Beyond via Steam Deck in about 8 hours. buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 14/06/2026Instead of grinding through the backlog, apparently I decided to tackle another mass effect series playthrough. Playing legendary edition on steam deck with a fem shep renegade run. Just wrapped up me1 after about 13 hours 110
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Starting CRONOS: The New Dawn, atmospheric for sure. Feels a lot like Dead Space where every fight matters. Aiming with controller is a little rough with the heavy weapon instability, about 2 hours in. Neat so far, tense 110
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Finished Life is Strange: Before the Storm remastered (switched over to ps5 since the switch version performed so poorly). I don't know why this story and characters are so good, but they are. Seeing more of Chloe felt so special. Took about 8 hours 000
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 28/05/2026Roller credits Vampire Crawlers in 30.5 hours via Steam Deck (is this the perfect Steam Deck gsme?). buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Wrapped up The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Cute fun, not a full mainline "Zelda" game, but a lot of depth. Some puzzles and interactions were a bit obtuse. Took about 26 hours. 020
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Wrapped up Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition on Switch physical cart. Flawless platforming, and I hate platforming. buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Finally got around to disco Elysium. 33 hours later I'm so glad I did. It started out a little slow for me but I usually take that as a good sign. And means that there's an incredible world to build sometimes and disco delivered an amazing world. I will feel forever connected to these characters 000
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 04/02/2026Mount No. 755 and a wrap up of The War Within. 492 hours played at level 80. Solid expansion, looking forward to Midnight! 010
buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 18/01/2026Started Chernoblite via PS5 physical; definitely a lower budget title, but the daily gameplay loop with some building / upgrade elements is pretty fun! buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 11/01/2026Rolled credits in Blue Prince (46th room only) after about 21 hours on day 27 in game. buffalosteve.bsky.social @buffalosteve.bsky.social · 01/01/20262025's list of games I played and at least rolled credits with time played. Some great games and definitely some mediocre ones.
