My friend and I are going to FL/CAN for her bday next week. After we made plans, we found out Hudson would be doing a screening and a panel. We kept telling ourselves that wasn’t the point of the trip so we wouldn’t be disappointed but if we happened to get tix, then great. She just got tix!

first post reads: Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.

Ok I’ve decided I’m going to write it. To be clear, the summary and a a few bullet points about the plot is all I have at the moment so it won’t be quick. But I couldn’t shake it so I guess I’m doing it 🫥🫡

Summary:
Wicker-man Eddie wants a quiet life. He just wants to raise his son Chris, be a good handyman to his small village, and maybe find someone new to love who he can nest with.
After Shannon died, he's surrounded by people who look nothing like him and still seem unsure of his presence and it's a lonely existence.
Buck is the best firefighter in the business. He also happens to be an actual Buck...robot. Unfortunately his presence tends to scare people since their first introduction to him is normally in a state of emergency and here comes this large demonic looking centaur-like robot carrying a chainsaw. Even after he saves them, they always seem wary. But he still feels a tug where his heart is, and he yearns to find someone who will see past his exterior and he can finally let all the love he has inside run free.
Eddie still feels like a fish out of water all these years, and Buck is on the hunt for someone he can spread his wings with.
And a fish may love a bird, but where would they live?

And I said yes because I'm gay now and that means I have to go on a date with every fucking man in Los Angeles apparently.
