Appointment is at 11. It will be a nothing burger. Anytime you are released from the hospital, a follow-up visit to your PCP in one week is included in the discharge instructions. 🤷‍♀️😜. Love you too! 😁😘❤️

Well, let’s see. I started the dishwasher. Blaze and I went for a walk. Lots of small odds and ends. Got my follow-up appointment set for Wednesday, which means I get to go back to work on Thursday! Yay! 😎. Oh cannot forget people blowing up my phone. I couldn’t get anything done if I wanted to!

When the EMT’s transported me to a different hospital and got me up to my room, they were joking with me about my nurse for the night. This guy was yummy! Oh my 😆 By morning I knew his life history! Some of it pretty personal. People are cool in hospital settings.

I agree! Besides no one in my family is overweight and are all actually slim as well. I don’t think my weight is my fault. It took until my 20s before I could top 100.

The underweight part is silly. How do they decide that. I am slim but that doesn’t mean I am underweight, IMO. I hold around 105. Yeah I go lower if I don’t eat right. But I can eat like a pig, too. 😜😉 They sent a nutritionist in my room. To lecture me I think. 😆

They checked my electrolytes and thyroid. All normal. I am not diabetic. Aside from my issues that got me to the ER in the first place, the only negative was I am underweight.

Possibly. I don’t know how they figure that stuff out. I mean, I was born with the kidney defect so anything is possible. Lung x-ray was totally unremarkable. The heart ultrasound was normal. The heart looks good! 🤷‍♀️

Awww I bet it was good to see him! No. I have a cardi to see and my PCP. The PCP appointment won’t be until end of week as it is a post discharge follow-up. I left a request on my patient portal for one. So, I’m stuck. 😥

Yeah! My heart rate was 186. My normal rate is low 70’s. Horribly scary! They checked my TSH. Perfectly normal. Was something like 2.5. I’d have to look in my health portal.

The real reason for hope is while my kidney surely has some damage from all this, he said it can’t be that bad because it’s healthy enough to do a complete reversal in an extraordinarily small amount of time. We will know more later when the next labs are drawn.

Was being deprived of a normal blood flow they think. And kidneys don’t like that. So I was in a state of an acute kidney injury that was chronic in nature in the aspect that it could not heal under those circumstances. The doc said he has never seen anything like it.

This silent afib (silent until this week) may be the reason for my kidney issues. I may not even have it. The last blood they took from me before I went home showed my EGFR to be nearly normal. I have not seen numbers this good since they diagnosed the CKD a few years ago. My kidney….

I am fully stable. I feel good, except it drained me. Really tired but part of that is a medication I will likely be on for life but my body should adjust in a week. Part of it is just from what I have been through the past few days . 😂🤷‍♀️ Anyhow, now for the good part. You’re gonna love this…

Not 100% sure what caused it yet. They said afib is quite common. It’s dangerous when upper and lower chambers are involved in the manner it was. They think I have had it for awhile and did not know it. I had an EKG before but not because I was sick and it was normal.

I had afib and on top of it, I had RVR, I think they called it. A definite medical emergency. Glad it scared me because I never would have called an ambulance. I probably just would have taken a nap. 😆

No. When they got me to the hospital my BP was 117/107. My pulse was 186. I thought it was the end. I can’t explain what that felt like. And I don’t want a repeat of that one. …

I thought I was having a heart attack. At 36 years old. My heart felt like it was gonna literally explode out of my chest. Called 9-1-1 and then my mom to get Blaze and take care of him.

And I could not go to the bathroom alone because I had wires I was hooked up to and 2 IV’s, one in each arm because they could not drip together due to not playing well together. So I had to be unhooked every time. Then rebooked. Both IV hangers had to travel with me. Sighs

Actually, I just got out of the hospital. So, nah. Been lying in an uncomfortable hospital bed that every time I put the head up, I’d slide down so I damn near had to lie flat as an ironing board. 🤣
