bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 27/12/2024This made me laugh like an idiot, but then we had to pause the movie while I was forced to explain why. "It's like if they said SMAP was announcing the story, but then it turns out it's a lady called Sue Mappu. Except better than that." 000
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 23/12/2024So I've been wanting to give this a re-read for ages, and thought, "I'll wait for winter so it's all bleak & gloomy and mood-appropriate" and then every day has been like this. 000
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 20/12/2024I had my suspicions but I knew Kraven was actually in on the joke when this guy showed up with his comedy forehead. He doesn't play an evil genius, just a tracksuit-wearing henchman. Brilliant, 8/10 000
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 19/12/2024Today's reading. My friend has been recommending this book to me for YEARS. 000
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 19/12/2024Leading on from reading Badab War yesterday: got inspired to write a little squad-based wargame. Looking for a kind of swat team doors-and-corners vibe, using an initiative system I've had in mind for a while. 000
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 18/12/2024Today's reading! Found this as the complete boxed set on ebay not too long ago. It was still fairly expensive but I've wanted these for a long time. Almost done with part 2. 030
bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 18/12/2024Shelfie #2: the tall books. Looking at this picture I realise I haven't actually had a chance to run ANY of these yet. Sad! I'll have to fix that. 000

bubu12013.bsky.social @bubu12013.bsky.social · 17/12/2024Shelfie #1: the small books. I think Vermis should probably be moved to the artbook/other shelf, eh? 541
