...is actually a valid critique in most if not all cases. It's actually not always a shallow nitpick to point out animation errors, awkward dialogue, or weird audio. Just because something is obvious to you doesn't mean it will be obvious to everyone, too.

To me, the biggest issue with the people nitpicking is that they cannot admit that sometimes, you'll just not like something, and they will grasp at straws trying to prove that no one should like it either. You don't magically become cool just because it's the other way around.

...as a personal diary, and even that sometimes there is art that is better suited for a private sketchbook. However, the amount of people who legit think that it's weird or cringe for people to actually open up about their feelings, positive or negative, is kind of whacky.
