BTS OT7 Fic Fest - not proceeding for now :( @btsot7fest.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Hi all, having thought long and hard about this I just don't have the capacity to run this fest at the moment. I'm so sorry. I hope in the future to be able to come back to this though #btsfic

Fic Rec! A Tale of Two Bottoms by Only_A_Fangirl Yoongi and Jimin go to hookup except.... Turns out they're both bottoms. Their solution? Convince the other five members - including the "straight" ones to have an orgy! archiveofourown.org/works/224434... #btsfic #ot7fic

Some of these seem so obvious to me and then others not so much

That or That? Poster in pink and purple.
I have chosen Found family over Friends to lovers, Hurt/comfort over angst, hybrid over omegaverse, fake dating over single parent, rivals to lovers over second chance, soulmate over royalty, arranged marriage over secret relationship, canon divergence over canon compliant, slow burn over love at first sight, and sci fi over fantasy

u cannot make me choose between friends to lovers and found family idc. and also tbh canon compliant is always lowkey canon divergence anyway since it s about real ppl but "realistic canon like" is what i go for more than like canon world + a/b/o for example

this or that
friends to lovers or found family (both)
hurt/comfort or angst (hurt/comfort)
hybrid or a/b/o (hybrid)
fake dating or single parent (single parent)
second chance or rivals to lovers (rivals to lovers)
secret relationship or arranged marriage (secret relationship)
canon compliant or canon divergence (canon compliant)
love at first sight or slow burn (slow burn)
fantasy or sci-fi (fantasy)

asking me to choose between friends to lovers and found family is honestly cruel (says the person who decided which ones would go against each other) 😭 don't forget to submit your prompts! <3 archiveofourown.org/collections/...

A "This or That" game graphic designed for BTS OT7 Fic Fest. The background is a soft gradient split vertically down the middle: purple on the left and pink on the right. The title at the top reads “This or That” in large, bold, bubble-style letters. "This" in pink, "or" in white, and "That" in dark purple. The text is surrounded with animal (hamster, baby chicken, rabbut, bear, koala, cat, and squirrel) emojis representing BTS members.

The graphic lists two columns of fanfic tropes. Some are circled in white, and others are marked with red heart doodles to show that I cannot choose between them. They are Friends to Lovers, Found Family, Love at First Sight, and Slow Burn.

For the others I chose:
- Hurt/Comfort over Angst
- A/B/O over Hybrid
- Single Parent over Fake Dating
- Second Chance over Rivals to Lovers
- Soulmate over Royalty
- Arranged Marriage over Secret Relationship
- Canon Divergence over Canon Compliant
- Fantasy over Sci-Fi

You couldn't make me choose between angst and hurt/comfort if you were threatening my life. The rest were pretty easy though.

This or That? (* by what I chose)

Left side:
Friends to Lovers *
Hurt/Comfort *
Hybrid
Fake Dating *
Second Chance
Soulmate *
Secret Relationship
Canon Compliant *
Love at First Sight
Fantasy *

Right side:
Found Family
Angst *
A/B/O *
Single Parent
Rivals to lovers *
Royalty
Arranged Marriage *
Canon Divergence
Slow Burn *
Sci-Fi

Hi all! Sorry for dropping the ball on this, I fell into a really bad depressive episode and did little of nothing except work there for awhile. I plan to still do this fest but give me a day or two to work out a new schedule. You can keep prompting for the time being though! #btsfic #ot7

Given I still haven't managed to make the games and we have 26 prompts so far (omg) do people want prompting extended? I realise there wasn't much time or prewarning that it was happening

Hi all thanks so so much to everyone who has submitted a prompt so far! Just a reminder that you cannot have ableism, incest, underage relationships, paedophilia, dead dove, graphic rape/non-con or infantilisation of disabled people I've unfortunately therefore had to delete some of the prompts
