I always loved how they handled the massive boss enemies in World of Horror. It's not just a small glimpse of what you're fighting; the camera zooms out all the way to show just how absolutely puny you are in comparison to the boss itself. It's a small detail, but it makes fights so intense.

Had a dream loop last night where I was in some game, and the objective was to wake up at different areas of my bed. This roughly translated to me rolling over, waking up and realizing it was a dream, sleeping, rolling over to another spot of my bed, and waking up again. I fucking hate my brain.

Been trying to get into Marathon, but there's such a wide gap between the game itself and what the community is like. Gunplay is great, as are the visuals; the community posts are abysmal, and twice have I joined games with a guy advertising a GTA RP server over mic. I WANT to like it, but goddamn.

After the Amazon Kindle debacle, I'm realizing how ubiquitous jailbreaking/CFW has become. Over the last decade, I've had to jailbreak at least 8 of my legacy devices due to corpo shenanigans. I still use these regularly, basically in spite of the companies that made them. It's becoming a necessity.
