i thought about adopting her two weeks ago but it was so soon and i wasn't mentally ready. i still didn't think i was today but i had no idea she'd be there. it's so rare for bunnies to meet and immediately get along with zero fighting, she literally kissed pancake for over an hour straight 😭💕

the day after omelette passed, i saw this bun being rehomed in my town. i felt connected w her, but we weren't ready, so i connected her w our local rescue to get fostered. well 2 wks later, unbeknownst to me, we took pancake to a spa day hosted at the fosters house. it was love at first sight 🥹

YES she slays as sour cream! if it helps i never get the flavored kinds, i like to sweeten it myself so i know exactly what's in it. could always try blending some fruits with the greek yogurt to flavor it yourself too!! we have also been using it instead of milk for overnight oats!

i like to use it as sour cream! add some lime juice and it tastes the same. or i'll use it as a parfait base, add some honey to sweeten it up along with chia seeds and coconut granola for fiber, and some yummy fruits for sweetness 💖 i usually get store brand tho

this may sound insane but this piece means a lot to me. we had a psychic read our bunnies last yr. our boy said he sees himself as a frog. we just lost his bun wife, who was a white bunny just like this one. this felt like a sign that she is giving our little frog boy strength from above. thank you💓

day 5 without our baby girl and pancake seems to be adjusting. he has definitely started interacting with us more, begging for love and food. on sunday he wouldn't poop and that was scary, but we made it through and he seems to be doing alright now. i'm sorry buddy, we all miss her greatly 💔🌈😔

thank you :( we are just thankful we got closure and our boy got closure too. he is doing a lot better than we expected and she was still in good spirits (albeit declining quickly), so she crossed over knowing she was loved and still happy ❤️‍🩹

today we had to make the insanely difficult decision to let our baby girl cross the rainbow bridge. we love her so so much and will never forget her love. she fell victim to a very nasty and fast acting brain tumor. may she binky free wherever she is and no longer experience pain ❤️‍🩹🐇

i will say she's been such a good sport, we have to give them 2x a day and she never runs or hides when i go to pick her up. ofc she gave me a little trouble when i started the actually feeding bc it was fucking beef flavored and gross to her 😭 but she trusts me so much & i'm so happy no more beef

omelette has been upset this past week bc the antibiotics our vet gave us are beef flavored. i went to pick up a refill for a month supply, and they are NOT beef flavored!! she slurped it right up mixed in some apple sauce 💖 we are so happy we don't have to syringe the meds anymore

ugh yeah i have to be super stingy on pellets esp bc my boy is an EATER !! he is so food motivated and it makes me sad bc he will eat himself sick so fast. they get pellets but only a tiny amount and cilantro is the only veggie i trust for him, in small amounts </3 i wish i could give them more

same with my boy! he would look at a pellet wrong and go into stasis, it def took years of dialing in the diet and even then, we still had a bout of it last summer with him! they are so fragile but they trust us and appreciate our diligence <3 my boy HATES being syringed tho LMAO he's a fighter
