My statement is about identity, yes, but in a more psychological sense, not a gender or sexuality sense. I suspect the mechanisms are similar, though, but my personal struggles don’t evoke the backlash from certain sectors of society as other situations do. I hope you are well.

Credit cards. At a certain economic level, you have to have them for emergencies. You have to use them to have good credit. As the world goes to shit, though, and you no longer have that economic level, you become an indentured servant to the banks. Change my mind.

In college I worked at a pizza parlor. There was a “secret ingredient” only one manager could add to the sauce, but the sauce was sweet and it really wasn’t that secret. I remember the pizza fondly, but that could be because of the time in my life I enjoyed it.

I was doomscrolling through Faceplant or whatever it’s called and realized my feed is more full of stories and articles than actual people. I mean, the algorithms have figured out what kinds of posts I like, sure, and I do see friends’ posts, but the majority of the content is truly impersonal.

I ran more today than I have in a long while. Granted, it was about 24 or 25 short intervals, with weights in between, but I can definitely feel it. I also had my first A&P exam today. There’s another one on Thursday. There’s a whole lot of information to know! It’s invigorating but exhausting.
