pretty static. The plot of the other four flame lords seems missing as well (especially orchel! shows up, heals someone, leaves without an explanation). maybe it's just leda's route that feels this way, since it relies on visiting the corners on the map you've already filled on other routes.

sixth update: almost done with replaying dietrich's endgame to get gaitz. it's not terrible to replay, but I do wish there were some speedup options for the dungeons and some of the social activities. Im going to restart theodora's route and see if there's advantages to finishing a different pt1

fifth update: I don't like the save system. At least let people make manual saves in the story but keep overall progression so they don't have to replay large chunks of the game for a few characters.

fourth update: cai's path proves that harvest moon just needs a tactics element to bring it back to relevance also, "monoceros" had me thinking there'd be some big rhino rather than a unicorn. probably going to start theodora's route over once I finish cai's to see if it's streamlined.

third update: got to the end of dietrich's part 1 fabio is best girl and also briefly going back to kai's part feels pretty different solely because he's more about mentoring and i think later on finding mounts than dietrich's dueling and battle focused route

second update: it is possible to be super underleveled on normal mode and still scrape by, but also I might be neglecting battles to do all the social/exploration stuff. there is an auto-level system but it means not doing any of the side stuff (probably for the speedrunners).

update: this game presents like it's an optimzer's nightmare, but thats really because the tutorials are just bad. just play the game and keep in mind most social stuff still runs on a 1/week cycle (e.g. gifts to potential recruits)
