This is one of my favourite journalism things: 1 - story reported 2 - politician boldly claims it's inaccurate 3 - journalism outlet releases the recordings Inject this shit into my veins.

Political insiders have dismissed @rorywh.bsky.social's investigation of the creepy AI propaganda app being used by the Brad Bradford campaign. They say it's "inevitable." It's not.
nationalobserver.com
No, cyborg propaganda is not 'inevitable.' None of this is.
After Rory White revealed a Toronto mayoral campaign is putting AI-written comments in its supporters' mouths, political insiders were quick to dismiss it as run-of-the-mill politicking. So why does i...

I spoke to CTV News today about my latest investigation into the fleet of websites trying to influence what AI chatbots tell voters in the upcoming referendum in Alberta. First time on TV so was pretty scary. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx0p...

Sooo… I guess @brunodbo.bsky.social and I have news? We wanted to wait until things were more settled to tell people, but no idea when that’ll be, so here goes: we (temporarily? TBD...) relocated to Montreal in the spring because of the impossible situation with my medical care in Vancouver.

It should go without saying that diversifying Alberta’s exports would mean supporting any export besides oil and gas — and reducing emissions requires emitting less of them. My column on today's announcement for @nationalobserver.com
nationalobserver.com
War is peace. Emissions are emission reductions. Ignorance is strength.
Mark Carney's announcement of a deal with Alberta to build a new pipeline is bad enough. The language with which it was announced is somehow even worse.

People with severe Dysautonomia, post viral inflammatory neuropathy, Neuro Sjogren’s, GI motility failure, EDS, etc. are literally dying and doing MAID due to medical neglect in BC and this is what they push on us. They psychologise these illnesses and want us to magically cure ourselves.

I’ll never understand why there isn’t better oversight and a way to get help, when you’re being seriously harmed by people in positions of power like this. They can literally get away with murder, or at least destroying people’s lives - they’re above the law.

So true. And SO exhausting. We’ve been in so many situations where we had to placate fragile doctors egos (even when they’re wrong or out of line) just to avoid getting denied care. The power imbalance in health care is real, and it’s enraging.

The information we have about the Iran War is incomplete and unreliable and it’s still clearly a debacle. The full story is likely much worse.
