So what would be left ideally? I'm far less drastic. It's benefit vs inconfort balance for me. Living in the mountains, Google, Amazon have real value and few replacements. Instagram hass real value for artists. Sadly :( Snapchat Tik tok, whatsapp, telegram I left behind Still using email

I presume Paul's definition was a lot broader, like a significant signal. IMO trying to find vast all encompassing definitions of learning leads non actionable ones. Many different situations that cover too many different brain functions and modalities.

For me the most important is that is an artifact, not something readily available in nature. A broad synthesis of many definitions: meaningful, interpretable content that can be communicated and serves as input for updating knowledge.

I like it, the more so that information IMHO resides outside of the body and it's not always/only information that causes the change. However the new response must be predictable given a similar perturbation otherwise it's garbage learning

Good debate question :) I reached the same question. Should we restrict our social circles based on what disturbs us or lack benefits or, just the opposite, force (to exhaustion?) ourselves to keep it as open and wide as possible?

Now we can say we know Andrea in depth with all his bones and joins :) i find it hard to put in practice but it changed my vision and observation of poses. Not to the point I can improve the results. It will take a lot more practice
