Since it's fat bear week, I figured I'd do a piece with all my existing bears. Here are all 18 of my current bears. Who would get your vote? #FatBearWeek

Bears galore!

- Most of these guys have been online before, three are from new sketches, one is a character I never put online before.
- The middle row of bears are all variants of the American black bear.
- Four of these bears are extinct species of bears.
- At least 15 of the 18 bears are gay (2 I'm sot sure about, the other one says he's straight {Bruce is working on him}).
- One of these bears is still unnamed, one has a name, but I never revealed it when I put it up.
- I tried to keep their sizes to scale in the piece.

Did you know Pete the Cat began as Pete the Bear? In the Alice Comedies, Pete was a bear. When Disney did Steamboat Willie, it made more sense for it to be a cat vs. mouse. Hence, he became Pete the Cat. Disney should re-brand him as Gay Pete, because Disney loves to support the gay community. ($)

My Emperor penguin character, Othello. When I first drew him, I said he was probably a used car salesman. As I kept drawing him, I realized he was more likely a stripper/exotic dancer. His parents were in the movie "Happy Feet". His grandfather was in "Marry Poppins". Dancing is in his blood.

The ever observant (and always horny/usually nude), Detective Dick Bulger. He's based on my love of detective novels (Sherlock Holmes) and bears (actual bears), and gay bears (big hairy men). Combining all three, I came up with my Spirit Bear detective. As most know, I have a weakness for bears.

Detective Dick Bulger, my private eye spirit bear. Based on a cross between Eddie Valiant from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (loved the shirtless tie look, and the chest hair) and Ralf König's Luigi Mackeroni from "Kondom des Grauens" or "The Killer Condom" (love Luigi's confidence, and his chest hair). Both came out at the end of the 80s and helped me realize that that, later on in my life, I was going to become both a homosexual and a furry.

Looking through my old files/sketches on my computer, I'm realizing that I've been drawing Bruce for over 30 years. He's not my oldest character I draw, but he's well up there. Here's a picture of younger Bruce in his 20 & 30s, and again in his older, 40+ dadger period. Why is he naked? Why not!

Bruce Badger, in his early 20's or 30's, as opposed to Bruce Dadger in his 40's or 50's. He's gone from a cool gray in his younger days, to a warmer gray as he's aged. He's also become a bit sturdier as he's aged.

Also, adding the Stink Badger back to my crew, even though science now says Stink Badgers are "false" badgers, and closer related to skunks. There are two types of stink badgers, 6 types of ferret badgers, and 3 types of hog badgers.

My "Wind In The Willows" cast from 2021. Bruce's shirt, and my own sentiments from that time period, still seem apropos today. Always be the best "you" that you can be, no matter what anyone tells you. For those who try to tell other people how to live their lives, mind your OWN DAMN business.

Most characters in the Disney universe are gay. Really, they are. Go to any theme park and ask them. They'll start using code words like "SECURITY! REMOVE THIS PERSON FROM THE PREMISES. SOMEONE PROTECT ELSA!" That's their code words for "Cheez it! We've been caught". Ha ha! The queers!

Normally I don't like to do adult art situations of copyrighted characters. Maybe a nude, but not full on sexual gayness. However, Disney characters. Fuck Disney! They've been ruining things for decades. So here, Pete the cat (or Peg-leg Pete or Black Pete. However they want to market him). Yup, he's a straight up (or gay up) homosexual. He likes taking it (or giving it) up the butt.

From my other art page, after Bruce, Marco the beaver is my next most popular character. Based on artwork by Ralf König, I made this little leather clad beaver in the mid-90s, before I even knew about the furry fandom. I need to draw him more in adult situations. Leather beavers are awesome.

Jackson Schlombowski (aka New York Bear), the third and final of my "state bears" I had yet to put up on Bluesky. Named after my favorite baseball player as a kid (Reggie Jackson) and Charlie Brown's favorite player (Joe Shlabotnik), I just combined the two and made it sound more NY city-ish.

You know "Trouble", the board game with Pop-O-Matic action, in a race to get your pieces around the board and back home.

Figured since I have so many bear characters, they're bound to have some sort of monthly meet up at the local gay bar. This is the one bear characters I have who would most likely be the ringleader. Ernest (The Tank), the old San Francisco Golden bear. Redesigning some old artwork. I was bored.
