Disinformation about immigration and immigrants in the US is rampant. Those opposed to building a diverse and multicultural society will have you believe all kinds of terrible things about our fellow humans. They take advantage of the ambiguity of the immigration system to perpetuate their message.

A lot of talk about AI for design is all about the *surface*. But how would AI behave if it was trained to navigate the deeper layers of design, so that it could help you, or help itself, when asked to work on a design project? Made a skill pack for that: layers.jamiemill.com

I’m just going to say this. Not that anyone needs to hear it from me. But it should be put out into the world as much as possible: Michelle Obama was the finest First Lady this country has ever had. She is also among the finest Americans. A true patriot who demonstrates compassion and service.

Rising income inequality is the main reason that affordability feels out of reach for U.S. families. Middle-class household incomes would be roughly $30,000 higher today if their incomes had simply kept pace with average income growth since 1979. Imagine life WITHOUT this inequality tax.1/1
Chart titled The inequality tax cost the middle class $30,676 in 2022. It is line graph that shows two lines beginning at the same point growing further and further apart over time as they rise to the right. The top line represents middle class incomes with no increase in inequality and the bottom line represents actual middle class incomes.
