Whelp thanks for reminding me why I haven’t posted here in 9 months

100

Look I saw a thread on twitter, it looked like Jay & Co were getting a truly astonishing and disproportionate amount of hate and wanted to signal that not everyone is dripping with hatred and vitriol for them If you want to call that being a fair weather cheerleader, then sure

“I haven’t posted here in 9 months but wanted to come show support for a team of people who are trying really hard under impossible conditions”

Whoa damn I had to look that one up I wasn’t on social media back then hahaha

Visible now? I unblocked him

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 04/01/2025

Wrong about you? Or wrong that pedophilia is a bad thing?

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 04/01/2025

Btw this person is an unrepentant pedophile I hadn’t done a call out post on twitter, where he was hanging out and trying to go to various events, bc I thought maybe I could report him to authorities, but I got burned out Account suspended over there now though so ppl should know

Ohhh can you not post video here yet Took a screen recording scrolling through my notifications lol Yes, tagging directly- priority notifs would be just people I’m following, or?

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 03/01/2025

Making me even less likely to come post here sometimes, notifs are a wreck Block lists are a thing though, right? Is there one for those accounts?

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 03/01/2025

Wait I’m so sorry I still haven’t figured out how to run two twitter-like accounts at the same time + know v little about how to use bsky but pls tell me there’s a way to block all the accounts mass tagging people to donate to ppl in Gaza Not a political thing I’m just assuming they’re scams

Oh my goodness so many furry feeds, it’s beautiful

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 25/02/2024

I’ve been absent from Bluesky for a long time What’s changed? What’s the alpha? Can someone explain feeds and how to use them?

Do people post selfies here I took this in the rainbow light in my dining room this morning but I had just gotten out of bed and look a bit too feral to post to twitter One of my eyes looks like fruit though and I kind of want to eat it

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 22/02/2024

Oh jk I just looked at my home page and saw a bunch of familiar faces

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 22/02/2024

How many people (still) here know me from twitter? Is this a blank slate kind of situation or not really

5260

Nope, they didn't flag anything and I can't think of anything that might have been problematic My twitter is so milquetoast lmao

1250

It was just in my notifs tab when I logged in this morning- sum total of info I've received:

180

I'm not in any gcs right now really I do talk to a lot of people in dms 1:1 though hmm

060

I didn't have a tweet that violated anything! At least not that they told me, and they usually indicate After the past couple of days I'm wondering if some of us just triggered some kind of spam filter bc of posting volume or something

3140

I know 😭 I didn't tweet about nettles or running anyone over or anything

0100

It's a sad day They said I'm not even allowed to create a new one but maybe I'll try later on

0100

They didn't even say! My guess is I triggered some kind of spam filter?

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 03/07/2023

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 03/07/2023

Lol I am somehow both of those people

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 24/06/2023

LOL oh boy it's been longer since I checked notifs than I had realized I was busy with vibecamp but that's a cop out really I'm sort of biding my time until functionality improves here...vibes got unpleasant for a while there

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 28/05/2023

Unclear to me what could be gained by boosting this kind of thing

090

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 18/05/2023

If only 🥲 I'm mostly back to irl only dating but still using Twitter to make new local friends so you never know

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 18/05/2023

Tpot is great because the hot people actually have personalities Unlike tinder, where you know the bio is gonna be empty or really dumb if they're hot

brooke bowman @brooke.vibe.camp · 16/05/2023

Ohh yeah maybe I'm thinking of something different hmm

If you follow more people then you've made posts, get those numbers up! Give me your tired takes, your huddled thoughts yearning to breath free. The wretched refuse of your minds shore. Post these, the homeless, tempest chewed on thoughts for me, I lift my likes beside the blue sky door

Bsky, meet Zuzu This puppy got hit by a car and the zuzalu community has rallied- people are watching him in shifts and now so many people are donating or offering help in different ways I'm about to try to fly him with me back to the US so he can find a forever home 🥰

i'm so glad i extended my trip here at zuzalu remains to be seen whether my last few days here will be as high value as the beginning was BUT the main thing i was concerned about was getting behind on vibecamp stuff we are doing so well, though; i'm really happy with the way everything's going
