Does it still drain the battery fast though ? iOS 26 ruined my iPhone SE, only lasts a few hours now. Won’t download it on my newer phone!

Since 1898, cars have been banned on Michigan's Mackinac Island. Locals still get around by bike, foot and horse drawn carriage, even the fire trucks are electric or animal powered.

No one will get £5,000. It’s even less likely than anyone receiving one of those gold Trump mobile phones they paid for two years ago.

Funny how when people are skint it’s always “let’s reduce tax on fuel” rather than “let’s reduce bus and train fares.”

Great. This is always tickles me. Should we be annoyed at the commercialisation, or proud what we helped create? I usually come down on the side of the latter. They tried to shut down the scene in the late 80s/90s, now they’re selling t-shirts back to us 😁 bsky.app/profile/brix...

Biggest load of guff I’ve ever read. “Tangible changes” - yeah most of them not very good! “Reduced the chances of a populist far right government being elected” - absolute rubbish. He pandered to the far right, borrowed their rhetoric & gifted them a massive poll lead. It’s revisionist nonsense.

I think you’re missing the point slightly: the Rupert Lowe community believe no one is truly British unless u can trace ur Englishness back to the Magna Carta or whatever. Charles’s dad was Greek; Charles is half Greek, albeit born in London. Under the far right’s made up “rules” he is not British

Justice has never been done for this murder. Cressida Dick made the order to fire and was later promoted to head of the Met Police. Keir Starmer was head of the CPS when the decision to not prosecute officers was reviewed. He refused. It stinks. I will never not be angry about this.

Bontcho had a restaurant in west London he ran with his wife. I went there one night with a couple of Luton fans. We were the only people there & Bontcho spoke to us at great length about old Luton players, Ipswich, goalkeepers, non league etc. Top guy. And his wife made me a Bulgarian omelette.

I think Helen Lewis‘s problem is that she doesn’t have a creative outlet in her life. This is probably why she is so miserable. Everyone should be given the opportunity to express themselves artistically.
