I’ve kept in touch with my doula from my first child and now two times I’ve told her something and she’s said “wow, I have never seen that before.” This is someone who has witnessed 100s of births! Just happy for modern meds that can deal with my unique body and kids and everyone is happy and safe.

I have about 35 pregnancy lbs on me, and I routinely carry around my toddler who is also 35 lbs, so at any given time I’m just walking around carrying 70 extra lbs on my person.

Is this a dumb question? Where are people putting their newborn when eating in the dining room? We sit down for all meals with our toddler and I’d prefer not to hold the newborn while eating. Bouncer on the floor?? I’ve seen high chairs with a newborn attachment but do I need all that?
