I'm not saying this is not a problem; we shouldn't use any unnecessary water, esp w the Colorado River water crisis. But this perspective from someone with much more experience in this area reminds me that there are LOTS of things that consume orders of magnitude more water than an AI query:

I feel like the real utility of a review is not really having the review in hand, but doing the thinking involved with assembling the review & forming, in the AI model that is your brain, an idea of where the field is and where the holes are. Knowing someone curated that is what makes reviews useful

Maybe it's a difference of semantics between different companies, but my understanding is that GPT-Rosalind is a model. Claude Science is, again to my understanding, a separate application that's meant to interface between scientific tools/data and Claude, not a separate model.
