5 March 1883 | A Pole, Teofil Swić, was born in Cewernówka. In #Auschwitz on 6 April 1941. No. 13761 Fate unknown. He was deported to the camp with his son Leopold (no. 13762), who perished on 29 March 1942.

Kevin McCloud delivered a lecture for SAVE’s 50th anniversary celebrations. This struck a chord. 'When we bulldoze buildings we also destroy the collective memory, culture and identity of the communities they belong to.' It's a reminder that buildings are far more than just materials. ⛪
