Guardbridge will be publishing an anthology next spring, "Things That Eat Good Intentions". Many of the writers, editors, and artists involved were at Fanatsycon in Glasgow this weekend. Many of us met up on Saturday night for a toast to the new project.

Every Friday, we meet a BFS member & peer deep into their soul. This week we're in the wilds of Scotland with @helengrantsays.bsky.social, who reaches back to MR James & Sheridan Le Fanu to create her ominous glimpses of the dark side. britishfantasysociety.org/meet-helen-g...
On a black background with flourishes of red dots and lines is the text: Meet the BFS members! Helen Grant. Helen is pictured in the centre in black and white. She is a white woman with long dark hair, and wears glasses.

The British Fantasy Society does not allow the use of generative AI in any of its spaces. For more on this, read the interview with outgoing chair Shona Kinsella from earlier this year. This position has not changed since last week's AGM. ⬇️ britishfantasysociety.org/its-a-cheat-...

Quick apology for the lack of alt text & tagging in tonight’s awards posts. @laurenwrites.bsky.social was juggling posting to several platforms while recapping nominations, listening for winners & taking photos. She started with best intentions, but had to abandon etiquette to keep up the pace 🥴
