sometimes i feel like a book's characters will talk about waiting to get married and have kids so they can travel the world and achieve their goals and whatever but then the epilogue comes around and BAM marriage and babies within 6mo to a year

i finished twisted lies,,, in the epilogue i can really appreciate that josh and jules stayed true to what they agreed on in their book and didn't immediately jump to marriage and babies it made sense for the other couples but for their characters it made more sense for them to just be engaged
