If you've been affected by the LA fires, be aware: scammers often pose as contractors. Here's some red flags to watch for: * Coming door-to-door * Asking to be paid in cash only * Trying to rush you into a contract * Not having a license or insurance in your state * Asking for personal info

If you live in the LA area and haven't already: 1. Make sure you're signed up for multiple different sources of evacuation notifications. 2. Pack a go bag. 3. Record a video of your home that shows all your belongings. Open closets, drawers, cabinets. Documentation is essential.
