I was working backstage in catering at an Aerosmith concert in 1988. The opening band was this up-and-coming group out of LA called Guns ‘N Roses. Perhaps you’ve heard of them? During Aerosmith’s set, I was standing off in the wings, watching the performance from the side.

I love that there's someone at ESPN whose job it is to choose the line colors to represent each team on their gamecast chart, and this person chose to use "medium dark gray" and "slightly darker gray" to distinguish the two teams.

Black-billed magpie on the deck. We befriended this dude and he kept coming back to visit for a couple of years. Tons of personality. I first met him because he was snagging fat trimmings off of a brisket I was smoking. His name was Pork Chop. #birds
