never know what you might find that you like.

If I have to put a label on it I think genderfluid is probably the best, sometimes I really really really like being a boy, but sometimes I want to be a girl. And half the time idek what I want other than a burger ngl. I guess the main takeaway is let yourself do things no matter the label, you

And I found I liked being a guy. Kinda. Sometimes it was really scary and I needed affirmation of being a girl. Which I liked too. But man, letting myself try masculinity on my own terms has been invigorating. Do I want to detransition? Hell no! I like floating in the nb soup way too much for that.

to be myself. Not a BL, but one character that really has stuck with me is Tieria. Seeing his struggle with gender and self impacted me a lot I think, and fundamentally reshaped what I would be allowed to do as a boy. So I started experimenting. In small controlled groups, mainly my partners.

For a long time, I felt like I wasn't allowed to do, wear, or be certain things due to being AMAB. So I transitioned to allow myself to do those, like makeup and stuff. And sure I felt good, but honestly I don't know I was connected with my gender, I think I just used it to give myself permission

Brib, in my Athrun Era @bribtype.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

But yeah idk, gender. I feel insane but I feel like I may be the first person ever to transition mtf and then have the experience so many trans mascs have where I had a big BL phase (thanks to Bravern tbh) and honestly connected with masculinity in a way I never had.

hello bsky I am returning after many months to rant about gender. In case you wonder what I've been doing, mostly making irl friends through Gundam card game and taking down tournaments, been a lot of fun. THREAD 1/x

Oh yeah, Resurrection came around the same time period Evangelion came to Netflix. Personally, I still have a fond memory of getting to watch this movie on Kissanime in college just before the pandemic rolled around.

110

Brib, in my Athrun Era @bribtype.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

true. Also my tendency to get excited for not super hyped things and to not be as interested in super hyped things is probably a contributing factor

020

Brib, in my Athrun Era @bribtype.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

honestly the extreme hype around it has extremely tempered my expectations, cause if I watch it and it's not the best thing since sliced bread I'll be disappointed if I dont
