Sorry to be cruel, but nothing says you have to pay the price. Nothing says you are obliged to spend $20 to $25 for a burger. Restaurant owners see revenue falling so they increase prices. The reason revenue is falling is because fewer and fewer customers are willing to pay the prices on the menu.

My wife's Grandfather was a rigger at the Bremerton Naval Yard. He was sent to Pearl Harbor to help clean up the mess. My Grandfather was a Civil Engineer. He was sent to Bremerton to design a new sewer system. Later in the war, he was about two weeks ahead of MacArthur building latrine systems.
