Chevy dealers want nothing you do with Bolts. I leased a Blazer EV and they had like one dedicated sales guy who knew the vehicles. Every other person there was actively misinforming me, or didn't know ow jack about EVs. But happily steered me to pickups and ICE SUVs

The Bolt is great. Good deal, reliable around town car and commuter. I leased a Chevy Blazer EV and loved it, so GM knows EVs. My only point is that it is hard to say USians don't want budget EVs from this particular example

And not meant to "well actually anyone" here. Just to say this idea that people are clamoring for exclusive golf clubs where they arent allowed in and could never afford to play on is laughable false equivalency. Plus at least golf courses you have choice to pay dues, and they pay taxes!

Pitch and Putt public courses like that are a great way to get into the sport. Totally encourage it! But that is completely different from creating exclusive clubs for 1%, and those certainly use WAY more water than typical muni courses

Such a great illustrator, made so many of the books I read as a kid come alive! Like as a 7 year old suburban California kid I had no context of English moors, but this haunted me and made being hunted by pirates in the night with no hope of help seem very palpable
