Before Game Informer returned, which felt like a one in a million shot, I had just assumed my career in games media was over. A lot of attention is rightly paid to the decimation of the actual games industry over these past few years, but we need to pay attention to what is happening in media, too.

From the biggest news story in the country with the Cornell 7 to the recently surfaced allegations against Jacob, I cannot fathom what it is like to be a woman in either the United States or the games industry. Regardless, society and this industry continues to fail them, and men must do better.

I 100% agree. She's definitely experienced and knowledgeable from a business perspective, and the way she carries herself is really indicative of her confidence, but she is definitely new when it comes to the gaming side, which could lead to some trip ups with gaming-specific outlets

I've had multiple great interactions with Asha in person at this point, and she is really poised and sharp, but it is somewhat telling that she hasn't done any interviews with gaming outlets as far as I know.

Games media cuts have felt unending for a while, but the mood feels especially grim among indie outlets with the latest wave of layoffs. More than ever, if the game industry values its media, it needs to support them. Buy some advertising, sponsor content, purchase subs. It makes a big difference.

When I had that happen, it was because the mouse itself was failing. It could either be the sensor is dirty/defective, or the button is letting go even if you're still holding it.
