Question for AI bros: If AI is making your art, how are you processing your childhood traumas and what do you do with your time when you’re high on drugs?

Also some of these contradict each other. Like “you’re a world class expert in all domains” paired with “if you don’t know something, say it” followed by telling it to make up its own numbers.

Paywalls suck when you’re a writer. All the best resources are stuck behind a paywall. Without the internet archive, research gets expensive.

I’ve never made it more than a minute into an AI-narrated video without it being painfully obvious it is an AI-narrated video. The voiceover is always so terribly garbage that it’s impossible to pay attention

If AI bros spent more time learning to talk to women, they’d probably have less need to pretend to be women themselves.

That guy certainly got out of the store faster than I did since he skipped the checkout part. And his free food was cheaper than the gas I paid for by a lot. He could probably eat 10x more than me because of the savings. But I didn’t need the shortcut and felt better doing things the right way:

I went into Circle K yesterday right as a man grabbed some food and ran out without paying. It reminded me of AI development. Sure, it’s easier to eat when you aren’t paying for food, and you always have the option of stealing. But most people prefer to earn their way through life the right way.

Thanks to the power of AI, you can do anything imaginable, like pretend you’re a woman. It’s a world-ending game-changing technology because we never before had the capability to create such mind-blowing videos as “woman running on treadmill” or “guy eating ramen” RIP Hollywood 😹🙄

Some random spent a couple months attempting to scare me with death threats but it only made me laugh. Two months later, and I’m predictably alive while that guy is predictably a do-nothing little bitch who we both knew was never going to get off his lazy ass to do anything 🤷

I spent the past month selling 10-year-old used tech and gadgets. It’s interesting to me how their value holds in a world where marketing makes everything old sound obsolete with every new innovation. Overall, there’s still a lot of interest in old tech.

This is a funny little setting Meta implemented on Facebook (on by default), especially the second sentence. It is compounded so not immediately intuitive that it’s saying you don’t always get an AI title if it’s turned on, and that group settings override your personal settings if it’s turned off.
