I'd never seen this documentary before on the #Tolkien art of Paul Raymond Gregory. Have a poster of his Caradhras painting. Some of the frames are quite spectacular. You have to ignore some of the major inaccuracies in the narration around the stories but otherwise very interesting #LOTR #TheHobbit

#TolkienTrewsday Week 184: Death Out of all the depictions of Boromir’s death, I have a particular soft spot for Ryuichi Terashima’s illustration from the Japanese edition of The Two Towers. Here, the fallen Boromir, redeemed and at peace, makes one final journey down the falls of Rauros.
