Brian @brianell.in · 20/10/2025I've been exploring some ideas for activity sharing and adventure route planning on atproto - will be looking for folks to help start testing soon. Here's a quick look: 291
Brian @brianell.in · 17/10/2025I asked Claude Code to build a joke based network using the atproto skill, and it pretty much one-shotted this app complete with lexicon validation, jetstream integration, etc. Wild. 040
Brian @brianell.in · 21/05/2025Ah okay. It looks like there may be something wrong with your config or auth given that the call to get-my-handle-and-did call is failing. It should behave like this: 000
Brian @brianell.in · 18/05/2025Going for a walk. Here are some lamps I like in the neighborhood park 270
Brian @brianell.in · 29/04/2025Making cranberry beans in the Rancho Gordo manner. At the “show them who’s the boss” step. #beansky @ranchogordo.bsky.social 060
Brian @brianell.in · 23/04/2025Donuts for the #earthday Glencoe Bike Bus today! @glencoebikebus.bsky.social 030
Brian @brianell.in · 10/04/2025My dog Rosie has unique facial markings, and I have been trying various AI tools to make accurate drawings of her. Even the fancy new ones seem incapable of replicating her markings, presumably because they haven't seen dogs like her in the training data? Always a white line that goes to both sides. 320
Brian @brianell.in · 08/04/2025Also added a `get-followers` tool, so now you can do stuff like "Who follows me on bluesky? Who am I not yet following that I should follow back and why?" 030
Brian @brianell.in · 02/04/2025Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 for Switch 2 will have Nora Vasconcellos and an underwater Spongebob level. So good! It's like they called my daughters and asked what they want for their skate birthday. 🤙 000
Brian @brianell.in · 23/03/2025It allows you to give MCP clients (like Claude, Cursor, etc) access to "tools" that can interact with atproto/bsky APIs on your behalf (think search, feed reading, profiles, etc). Here's an example with trends: 110
Brian @brianell.in · 22/03/2025I’ll be there as well - will keep an eye out for ya! Here’s a sample interaction, asking to summarize multiple feeds and find a recommended read based on my likes 110
Brian @brianell.in · 21/02/2025At an @aipdx.bsky.social panel on education, and feel compelled to share a fun milestone for @obob.dog - hundreds of OBOB kids are doing thousands of battles daily to collaborate and study for Oregon Battle of the Books. 2.5k yesterday 📚🐶⚡️ 040
Brian @brianell.in · 19/02/2025Looks like the meeting is at capacity. Can you open up more space? I'd love to join! 100
Brian @brianell.in · 06/02/2025👋 @mrwolfcomics.bsky.social, my daughters go to Glencoe Elementary and together we made a free game for kids to explore Oregon Battle of the Books called obob.dog (@obob.dog). We love your books, and were wondering if you'd be open to helping us draw a logo for the site inspired by our dog Rosie. 130
Brian @brianell.in · 31/01/2025The bookmarks are stored in a private @notion.com database, which I'm able to add to directly via the @bsky.app ios app share sheet. The share to notion feature lets you pick which database to share to, and then adds a new row with the link. 100
Brian @brianell.in · 29/01/2025It's fun when you make something weird for yourself (and family), and other people end up liking it too. 030
