I do believe that tech employers do expect us to vet and add value to AI output. However, the reward is output for engineering, and outcomes for PM. Feature factory vs money. PMs are being continually pressed to find the new thing, tap a new market, spend less time supporting the feature factory.

There is a hunger in the US for any news organization to actually be journalists, and hold the administration accountable. All this "they said a thing" or "<someone> has an opinion" style reporting is garbage and part of the problem. It might not pay off at the start, but it will in the end.

The reason fascists hate science is because scientists can call bullshit on their edicts. The government can claim “clean coal” exists or windmills cause cancer but science can easily debunk that. So the solution is to defund, discredit and destroy the pillars of science as much as they can.

This puts the security debate in better perspective. I know this space really well. The guy wasn’t anywhere near the ballroom. He was basically trying to rush the security perimeter and failed. It’s a big complex with lots of different event happening at the same time.

Y’all need to learn how to 'yes AND'. There’s a lot of rejecting or dismissing facts because the framing is incorrect/immoral/trite, etc. but that’s doesn’t change the FACT. You can still use and share the FACT while altering or arguing against the framing in which said information was shared.

The corporate myth is that embracing AI will get you results that are cheap, fast and good with fewer employees. The reality is a lot of companies will find out they got things done for a lot cheaper and a lot faster but if definitely wasn’t good.

There are jobs. Construction and build out jobs. 100s The ongoing jobs are a skeleton crew to keep up with equipment installation and equipment replacement. Very few jobs over any duration. 10s And they are considered entry level IT. Not skilled tech jobs or long term investments everyone thinks.
