All that said, turns out I need a new job. I'm really fucking good at what I do (backend/distributed services) so if you're hiring lmk I guess.

I never really had a plan for what came 'after' Xbox. Xbox was the plan. I had every intention to stay there for as long as possible. I've been incredibly lucky to get the opportunities I've had. Its surreal to think this chapter of my life is closing.

Overall, I'm at a little over 7 years with Microsoft total. I've built a lot of software that a lot of people interact with daily in their gaming. I've also built a lot of software that's now in the trash.

Today, I am sad. I started at Xbox in 2017 working on the achievements backend. Spent some time on Mixer, then worked on the twitch integration. There's a lot in between but too much to post. Had a stint at riot for a bit, and came back in 2024.

Same event, one year difference. Maybe the difference is just the lighting. Or the hair. Or the clothes. But, I'm also 20 pounds lighter this year. Still a ways to go but this feels like maybe some visible progress.

Currently watching old seasons of Ink Master and am absolutely devastated to discover that I have the same style as late 2000s/early 2010s Dave Navarro.

I started doing reduction block printing recently, but instead of ink I've been using watercolor. It's challenging but I'm having a ton of fun.

But anyway here's the Milk Bar Salted Caramel Pumpkin Pie I made. I made it gluten free though, so the crust fell apart

I finished it! But I'm like... Not sure I went to a lot of these areas? And have no recollection of Sera, I'm not sure I ever got her as a companion (which is fine bc she actually annoys the shit out of me)

This is my life and it's made worse because it's a gluten free crust. Add water oh but now it's sticking to everything, add flour but oh now it's falling apart, rinse repeat 100 times; my arms are sore
