Oh, and the garbage disposal...we removed that years ago on the advice of the plumber who said it was the main cause of mains blockages. We put our food waste in the organics bin and have managed to live just fine without the little muncher ruining everything.

I live in the US...I air dry my clothes because it is better for them and the envt and saves me money by using the free sun, I don't use ice machines because drinks are cold enough from the fridge and ice cubes dilute the drink/are wasted. As a list of things to pick on Europeans for...pretty lame.

It's been happening for DECADES. Other women have reported these crimes and were ignored and dismissed. It's endemic in the culture. Colleges know about these frat houses and turn a blind eye-they only think about the tuition $$ and having winning sports teams, so they won't punish these rapists

The frat chapter involved in the current Cornell crimes had the same reputation at a # of colleges up and down the east coast 35 years ago. Sadly not new & won't stop til the Greek system is eliminated & people held accountable There's a reason the term "frat boy" is universally pejorative

Back in 1994, I lived on campus in a sorority, and I can recall VERY CLEARLY at least 3 examples of being awoken in the middle of the night by sisters asking me to go get some girl out of a frat house party & finding her passed out, men on top of her & standing around waiting for their turn.
