While I love my Syr Gwyn, and smiting opponents with equipment is Plan B, I'm not trying to build a bracket 3 removal check or bust deck. That said, I don't understand people building Syr Gwyn as knights typal. A handful are useful, but she just cares if you carry an equipment. Living Equipment go!

It just helps so much to go Right, I'm base X, my ramp and early spells are that, and then here's the colors I must hit and the ones it'd be nice to hit. And that's doable without breaking the bank on the mana and ramp package. 🙂

There's it's good, and I'm not playing the right decks for it. So while I will oft play the occasional 1-2 mana cantrip for early card smoothing, it's more Ponder or something over Brainstorm.

Maybe, just maybe, Mike Johnson, you wouldn't be in this position if you had actually done your job for Congress and the American People. You've ceded all your power to the President, and soon he won't even need you. He's not even bothering to get Congress to rubber stamp things.

Reasons why a deck might start with tutors, and then six months or a year later I cut the tutors because I can't remember what I'm looking for anymore.

On the plus side, even with 5-color commanders, you can focus on a core deck that's 2-3 colors and then branches out from there to cast your commander or hit certain splashy spells.

As with all that said, you can either try to aim for skill and assemble a drafted deck to win the draft and those rewards. Or you can cut your losses, and for a little more than the price of the packs, you can curate what rares and cards you take home.

Heh, Tovolar does make the werewolves function. And while I only have one werewolf deck, I do have several Tovolar decks because a Gruul saboteur as a commander is pretty flexible. Still even flipped they're still midrange Gruul critters. Halana and Alena make em dangerous.

As one who's trying to count how many turns are in an EDH game... I'm losing count all the dang time. Keeping track of even/odd turn is even more a nightmare. At least in EDH there's nothing to track for Day/Night, 2 spells a turn are the norm, so unless Tovolar forces it, just assume it's Day.

See, that's fair, and in this instance you're already doing so much better than Blanche here. He should have at least 2-3 examples right on the tip of his tongue if it's such a big deal to him. Blanche, your job depends on receipts, so where the heck are they?

If you're blue white and dropping a 6-drop Brawl Commander, I'm going to go with somewhat miserable. If you had all the answers before, well you certainly have them now :)

I don't mind UB. I do mind the firehose of sets. That it's been making sets hard to buy into for my $5 pack a week is aggravating. I want more Strixhaven, maybe Lorwyn Eclipsed, maybe. But my store just hasn't had the packs at all sometimes, nevermind good prices.

It is such a unique clone. A design completely based on the tech they had at the time. But as a result ends up with some unique use cases. I definitely love it for Populate shenanigans. I should play it more. I have so many copies.
