I think a "verified domains" whitelist would be good. That way if someone puts in a youtube link, the popup won't show because youtube.com is whitelisted. But if someone makes a malicious site that has youtube's icon, a popup would show because you hadn't whitelisted their site.

Anytime I see someone complaining how Vgen is too complicated, too hard to get Verified on, or that they're not getting clients, etc and I wish they understood its not a magical problem solver of a site. It's a specialized tool to streamline administrative tasks so you can focus more on art.

This brings up an interesting question about Baldur's Gate 3. 90% of the chests, boxes, bags, etc have nothing in them. Completely empty. And yet some of us still check every single one of them. Are those lootables just POI to get us to explore every corner, even if there's likely no reward?

When your account is flagged as spam, everyone can see that flag. I've seen it on other accounts before and it's not a secret moderator flag. Discord will literally hide the messages from everyone's view similar to how blocked messages are hidden but still viewable. Everyone would have seen my flag!

Omg?? Aelf is so full of shit because they've talked to me a million or so times in the VGen server, they 100% know who I am, and actively bullied me and a couple others a while back in the VGen server. There was a whole doc made about them (the mod team as a whole, not just aelf).

Yeah I do feel a little bad that artfol is getting a stain on their rep, but at the same time, they're small enough that they're kind of immune to being canceled bc no one knows who they are. At most, a few hundred people will be upset, half will delete their accounts, and the app will carry on.

That's horrible. Unfortunately I can totally see it too. Some of the people in my "group" were long time veterans of the seminar I was attending - I'm talking men and women in their 80s telling the 16-20 year olds in the group that they've been in this for 50 years and they have no desire to leave.

I hate that I can relate to the college friend. My dad dragged me into the cult too, and the only reason my escape was so easy was because I never physically entered the building, and I was able to talk to friends the whole time who could see through the cult tactics before I could.

The official statement was a partial copy/paste of the discord responses. Here's some of the dev's replies (many of which I do not think would be grounds for a lawsuit). If they were worried about public statements getting them in trouble they shouldn't have said they'll be hiding some of the ads.
