Engaging with an existing trope or plot pattern, isn't about simplicity or robot formulas. It's rather about an acknowledgement of the history of your field, a constant intertextual conversation with (or against) the meanings that have built up around certain tropes.

yo creo que un book club es divertido si une se acuerda que it's just a book. Y si es entre amiches o gente con la que une tiene confianza, es recordar que al final se puede pasar muy bien y no volverlo una vaina ahi toda aburrida llena de peleas absurdas.

es la primera vez que asisto a uno y en tres semanas sera la primera vez que hago de host de uno. Hasta ahora ha sido interesante, aunque a veces me cuesta tener paciencia y no salir a estrangular a algunxs de lxs academicxs.
