I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.

imo the best pikmin 1 experience is actually pikmin squared! and its 2.0 update just came out a month ago really faithful and quality remake of pikmin 1 in pikmin 2, plus a really well-made second campaign starring louie

i still think PMD is a total waste of the genre by taking whats supposed to be a snappy roguelike and slowing the progression down to a crawl (i love the series still but damn play the other games and you'll get it)
