Look at this loathsome repulsive creature yelling at a reporter. In addition to the fact that he’s the worst president in US history, he’s one of the worst human beings on planet earth. His supporters have a very serious defect in their character.

I've always believed that we need to let the robots work so humans can live. Automation should be leveraged to handle production, distribution of resources, and the general administration of society, running passively in the background while humans focus on self-actualization and Becoming.

But if you have to redistribute wealth and land on a regular basis, you are no longer talking about a free market; you are talking about a planned redistribution system that operates alongside or above the market. At that point, the entire rationale for anarcho-capitalism collapses into absurdity.

and to entrench their position. This is not a failure of capitalism; it is the natural operation of capitalism. The only way to prevent this concentration is to periodically reset the system, to redistribute wealth and land so that no one can accumulate enough to dominate.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 03/08/2026
Free markets require competition. Competition requires that no single actor can dominate the market. But capitalism, left to its own devices, produces concentration of wealth and power. The wealthy use their wealth to acquire more wealth, to capture regulatory institutions, to eliminate competitors,

Liberty Requires Infrastructure
A Case for Enlightenment Socialism

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 01/08/2026
Liberation Infrastructure is the theory that anarchism becomes materially possible when technologically advanced, democratically governed, decentralized systems guarantee the conditions of life so thoroughly that both capitalism and coercive state administration progressively lose their function.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 31/07/2026
The Law of Inverse Sovereignty As individual and collective sovereignty rises through material abundance and decentralized access to the means of life, legitimate state power must wither in inverse proportion. Any authority retained after its coordinating necessity has disappeared becomes tyranny.

My imagined future distributes fabrication, energy, knowledge, and productive capacity outward until individuals and communities no longer need masters. Their future centralizes cloud infrastructure, platforms, identity, payments, logistics, and housing until existence itself becomes a subscription.

You are only as free as your neighbor, times eight billion. The individual cannot be free in a society that is unfree.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
Regional, local, household, then increasingly individual productive capacity. The state builds the bridge, then the need for domination withers as people become materially independent and harder to dominate. The individual rises because the collective is flourishing.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
A person becomes more individually sovereign when housing, food, healthcare, energy, education, tools, and time stop being controlled by landlords, bosses, insurers, monopolies, and shareholders. The answer is public power used to build the infrastructure that makes coercive power less necessary.
100
Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
The individual does not rise against the collective. The individual rises because the collective conditions of life are no longer hostile to Becoming. That is the part a lot of people miss. They treat individual liberty and collective provision as opposites, when the opposite is closer to true.

Under capitalism the freedom to learn is locked behind the financial ability to fail.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 06/07/2026
Give people enough space and enough time, and the conditions for becoming start to exist. Deny them either, and all talk of freedom is bullshit.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 06/07/2026
Space means material room, housing, infrastructure, land, sovereignty, productive capacity. Time means liberation from drudgery, from precarity, from overwork, from the theft of life by bad systems. Put together, that is basically the universal substrate of flourishing.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 05/07/2026
In my worldview the state should be the construction crew that builds the infrastructure of liberation, and then it fades away because its services are no longer needed.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 05/07/2026
the state provides a modicum of protection and a fragile safety net. That contract is now void. Automation has broken it, just as Karl Marx predicted it would in his Fragment on Machines in the Grundrisse.

You cannot have a landlord if you own a home that costs almost nothing to maintain. You cannot have a state that controls your life if the state cannot control the means of your survival. The old social contract was based on the exchange of labor for survival. You work, you pay taxes, and in return,

When you pair that with automated asteroid mining, vertical farming, and ubiquitous 3D printing, we are not just providing goods; we are eliminating the material basis for hierarchy. You cannot have a boss if you can print your own car and grow your own steak.

The concept of Liberation Infrastructure is the key. It is not a metaphor, I consider it my true real contribution to socialist theory. It is a literal, material condition. A Sovereign Home is not a house; it is a node in a distributed network of self-sufficiency. It has its own water recycling,

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 05/07/2026
Freedom is a function of infrastructure. You do not liberate people by passing laws that forbid oppression; you liberate them by building systems that make oppression physically, economically, and technologically impossible.

If anyone wants to know the difference between libertarian atomization and Eudaimonian sovereignty, capitalist libertarianism says you are free because nobody is obligated to help you. My worldview says you are free when the basic infrastructure of life no longer forces you into domination.

A permanently off-market, resident-stewarded, eventually resident-owned dwelling built through public infrastructure, protected by an anti-speculation stewardship covenant, and designed to reduce dependence on landlords, creditors, utilities, and speculative markets. That is a real category.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
A public housing unit is publicly owned shelter, often without a path to resident ownership. A community land trust home is closer, but still usually sits inside a familiar resale-restriction framework. A Sovereign Home is something more specific.
100
Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
I genuinely want the Sovereign Home to be its own distinct class of dwelling. A normal home is a private asset inside the speculative real-estate market. An affordable home is usually a discounted or subsidized unit inside or adjacent to that market.

Literally the fucking Anti-Federalist Papers, like An Old Whig, warn about the threat of enemies of liberty using religious zeal to push their agenda, literally using an example of a woman killed in Boston for witchcraft a year prior. We're watching his fears happen.

They have always been the people who say the strong should rule. They have always been the people who wrap themselves in the flag while destroying the principles the flag is supposed to represent.

The right is not American where it counts. They are the Loyalists, the Confederates, the segregationists, the MAGA movement. They have always been the same counter-revolution. They have always been the people who say the Enlightenment was a mistake.

that law should stand above rulers, that power should answer to the people, that a free society should be built for human flourishing. If you do not hold those principles, you are not American. You are the enemy of the experiment. You are the Endarkenment.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
Being American is not a matter of birth, citizenship, or ancestry. It is a matter of commitment, of holding the principles of the Enlightenment, of believing that ordinary people are equal in dignity, that government exists to secure rights people already possess,

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
I argue that the people can be trusted with freedom, but only if they have the material conditions that make freedom real. You cannot have a self-governing citizenry of people who are exhausted, rent-burdened, overworked, and dependent on employers and landlords for survival.
100
Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
The Endarkenment says the Enlightenment was naive, that human beings are not capable of self-government, that liberty is dangerous, that hierarchy is natural, that power must be concentrated, that the strong will always rule.

Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
They have convinced people that the American Experiment is over, that it was always a lie, and that the only honest thing left is to manage decline until extinction. But the promise was not false because it was unfinished, it becomes false only when we stop trying to complete it.
100
Brandon King @brandonking.bsky.social · 22/06/2026
The Endarkenment's greatest success is convincing people that the Enlightenment was a historical period, an age we moved beyond rather than a living commitment. They have made it seem as though the principles of liberty, equality, and dignity were tried, failed, and are now obsolete.

The Space and Time Agenda is not an end. It is a prerequisite. You cannot terraform dead planets if your species destroys itself in a resource war over rent and mortgages. You cannot seed life across the cosmos if your civilization collapses under oligarchic extraction.

Life extension without ethical transformation does not automatically create wisdom. It can also preserve pathology. Give the wrong people endless runway and they do not become enlightened. They become more patient monsters.
