iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Opened up OBS to stream and my computer froze. Idk what it is about updating OBS, but it seems to always cause this issue. Extremely frustrating. No stream today.

As hard as I may have tried to get rid of my accent/dialect, I can’t stop saying pop and crawdad and devil’s night.

Now that I have some more free time, I can pick up some old projects again. Here's a preview

Sorry for the radio silence for the last week. Been moving and unpacking stuff nearly all day every day and started setting up my office this evening. I have a tourney match on Friday, so I hope to have everything set up a few days prior so I can prepare for that.

a lil update for those not in my discord

Hey all, I thought I’d provide an official update on what’s happening in the next few weeks. Today, August 21, was my last day of work before moving to Canada. I will be unemployed for an uncertain amount of time while my paperwork is processed so I can gain permanent resident status.

I’ve been at my job for nearly 5 years and I’m sad to go, but it needed to be done. I did learn a lot there though and am optimistic about the future of my career.

In the meantime, I plan on streaming full time. This probably does not mean 8-10 hours every day immediately. I’ll continue with my normal schedule and add in streams when I feel like it. I will continue SMW speedrunning for the foreseeable future, as I have a lot of things I want to accomplish with that game. I’ve been thinking about what else I want to speedrun as well but haven’t landed on anything yet.

Thanks for reading, and I really appreciate all of the support that you guys have shown over the years and especially lately as I’ve been streaming more consistently.

imo it’s good that they disclosed that it was made with AI, but the first reply I made to this post shows that the AI-generated code was not reviewed. That’s bad.

Michael @bramz.live · 21/08/2026

Understood, I just wanted to cover my bases.

010

Michael @bramz.live · 21/08/2026

Those are not my words, and I don’t think they represent the majority of replies.

010

Michael @bramz.live · 20/08/2026

Hey! I'm a bit uncomfortable with you claiming that there's a "dogpile" happening against Julien. I don't think anything I or the replies has said was a personal attack against them. Most of the replies are simply against using AI to generate 90%+ of the code and announcing the mod before reviewing.

Michael @bramz.live · 20/08/2026

“90% or more of the code was written by [an] LLM and I have not reviewed any of that” Somehow, it got worse.

This is extremely disappointing to see. I don’t really have anything else to say about it. I’m just disappointed.

And here’s my shitty photo editing skills at work to show just the outline of the sun.

I don’t live in Iceland or Spain, but I did get a pic of the eclipse that’s happening today. Maximum coverage around me is about 3%.

Picture of the sun with a small amount covered by the moon. Taken on an iPhone with eclipse glasses held in front of the lens.

96 didn't go so hot, but I did get a PB in 11 Exit! I retimed it to 9:56.650, an exact tie with my friend @sten.bsky.social

Screenshot of the Super Mario World 11 Exit leaderboard, showing Sten and Bramz tied for 35th place with a 9:56.650.

had a pretty nice long stream today, finished a 96 exit and did some 11 exit as well. i finished a 10:20, with about 20s to save on the cloud fight. my pb is a 9:59, so i basically would have tied it if the fight went well. going to spend some more time practicing
