Ppl are living longer, I understand that there has been a drop in life expectancy because of austerity but life expectancy will continue to rise again. Most of the damage to ppls health occurs after the age of 60. At 55, I was told I need a new knee, I am now 67 no new knee because I retired at 55.

The reason state pension age is going up is because ppl are actually living longer, so ppl will get the pension. The problem is the health of those ppl when they get to that age.
